The SMC Design took around 2 months to develop the vehicle from concept to prototype model.FRP,Sheet metal and painting work was outsourced and the final assembly was again done in-house.
For the moment, the design and fabrication activity happens across dispersed centers in pune.But going forward, SMC Design is planning to set up facility in pune by the end of 2010.
